To check in, we used the 3-2-1 method: 3 places we spent time this summer; 2 ways we felt blessed; 1 blessing we saw bestowed on another. We also sent a photo from a category of choice.
About the reading, we volunteered what we understand differently now than we did when we read the same chapter last year. The role of the mentors and the importance of the TRs came up. Marilyn learned by doing, and we came to the conclusion that EfM is training us to see the eternal in every day things.

For a closing prayer, we used the "chat" function to list our concerns, then recited the responsive prayer on p. 122 and the collect on p. 124.
