We met at St. James under an unexpected barrage of hammer strikes, as roofers were replacing shingles over the nave. Still, we recited Evening Prayer, augmented by our selections from a booklet, Collects, Prayers, and Insights from Theological Reflections.
Then we walked a few doors down Church Street to a new restaurant, 7 Tequila. Donfred showed up and made our group whole.
